The guest accommodation contract is concluded once the room has been ordered and confirmed (reserved). Both the order and the confirmation can be made by telephone, in writing or by e-mail. The conclusion of the guest accommodation contract obliges the contracting parties to fulfill the contract, regardless of the duration of the contract.
The contractual services result from the information contained in the booking confirmation. The guest room may only be used by the specified number of people. If the agreed space is not available, Das Moselhaus is obliged to make an effort to find an equivalent replacement. The prices are in euros and include VAT. An increase in VAT after the conclusion of the agreement is for the account of Das Moselhaus.
Within 5 days after booking, you pay a deposit of 30% of the total amount, stating the booking number. The total amount must be paid 14 days before arrival. For late bookings (within 14 days before the arrival date), the full amount must be paid at the time of booking. In the event of late payment, we are entitled to cancel the booked stay. Money already paid will not be refunded; the cancellation provisions then apply in full.
Cancellation is possible up to 14 days before arrival free of charge and must be done in writing by the main booker. The date of receipt is the date of cancellation. If you cancel from the 14th day before arrival or later, we are obliged to charge 30% of the total travel sum.
Due to COVID-19, we offer you the option to rebook your holiday up to 1 day before arrival in the following cases:
- a closed border (of Germany or country of origin);
- a negative travel advice to the destination region;
- quarantine obligation on arrival and/or return in combination with a negative travel advice.
The above must have been communicated on the official website of the Dutch government or the German government. The travel sum of the booking may be higher if the rates for the new travel dates are higher. You then pay the difference.
If you do not show up (no show), Das Moselhaus will charge you the costs of the entire stay.
