Terms and Conditions

Booking

The guest accommodation contract is concluded once the room has been ordered and confirmed (reserved). Both the order and the confirmation can be made by telephone, in writing or by e-mail. The conclusion of the guest accommodation contract obliges the contracting parties to fulfill the contract, regardless of the duration of the contract.

Services

The contractual services result from the information contained in the booking confirmation. The guest room may only be used by the specified number of people. If the agreed space is not available, Das Moselhaus is obliged to make an effort to find an equivalent replacement. The prices are in euros and include VAT. An increase in VAT after the conclusion of the agreement is for the account of Das Moselhaus.

Deposit

Within 5 days after booking, you pay a deposit of 30% of the total amount, stating the booking number. The total amount must be paid 14 days before arrival. For late bookings (within 14 days before the arrival date), the full amount must be paid at the time of booking. In the event of late payment, we are entitled to cancel the booked stay. Money already paid will not be refunded; the cancellation provisions then apply in full.

Cancellation

Cancellation is possible free of charge up to 7 days before arrival and must be done in writing by the main booker. The date of receipt is the date of cancellation. If you cancel from the 7th day before arrival or later, we are forced to charge 30% of the total travel sum.

In the event of a 'No Show', Das Moselhaus will charge you the costs of the entire stay.

Arrival and departure

Arrival from 4 pm to 6 pm (please call in case of delay) and departure before 11 am. Other times possible in consultation.

Liability

Das Moselhaus Das Moselhaus is not liable for damage or loss of goods brought into the Bed & Breakfast by a guest who has taken up residence there. The provisions herein do not apply insofar as the damage or loss is due to intent or gross negligence on the part of Das Moselhaus.

Liability guest

The guest and those accompanying him are jointly and severally liable for all damage that arises for Das Moselhaus as a direct or indirect result of breach of contract (attributable shortcoming) and/or tort, including violation of the house rules, committed by the guest and/or those accompanying him, as well as for all damage caused by any substance and/or any thing in their possession or under their supervision.

Note

All floor plans serve as a guideline and are therefore not binding. Requests are taken into account as much as possible. All rooms are non-smoking. Barbecuing is not allowed! Please note that our guest rooms are not suitable for guests with wheelchairs.

Final Provisions

If one or more provisions are wholly or partly legally ineffective, this will not affect the validity of the other provisions. Instead of the legally ineffective provision, a provision with the same content as possible, which comes as close as possible to the intended purpose, will be applied retroactively. The competent court is Cochem / Mosel. With the appearance of these conditions, all previous ones lose their validity. Effective October 1, 2020

Royalty

Any form of duplication is only allowed with the express permission of Das Moselhaus. Inclusion in online services and the Internet and duplication on data carriers may only take place with the prior written consent of Das Moselhaus.
